I miss you!
I was reading your entry as...Hi Normi! I miss you!

I was reading your entry as regards chapter 1 from Hedge and I think we share a lot of ideas! Have you seen my glogster? It is very much connected to what you have written because I included two activities/games to find out our students´ reasons for learning English without asking them directly.

And as regards ways to motivate them, I also wrote something connected to what you say. For example, presenting topics through songs and pictures to surprise and get their attention. I also think we ask them about their favourite activities and games so that we know what to exploit in our lessons.

So, it seems that we´re on the same wavelength!!! (I´m sure you remember this idiom) :-)

See you!

Love,

Debbie.-Deborah - Methodshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15400556256142659307noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7543288867050040295.post-84729561753783280222010-05-21T00:29:28.498-03:002010-05-21T00:29:28.498-03:00I love these ideas INDEED, Normis!
To begin with,...I love these ideas INDEED, Normis!
To begin with, I agree with you in that we need to let sts relax before bombarding them with questionnaires.
But most all I loved the idea of SURPRISING the sts with the unexpected. These sort of things make a really enjoyable environment for learning! Thank you for the tips ;)

Hugs,
LuLucía G.https://www.blogger.com/profile/06007848107085461946noreply@blogger.com
